A fabulously fun award-winning musical based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the MGM movie starring Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde follows the transformation of sorority sister and fashion icon, Elle Woods, through her journey to win back her ex-boyfriend by enrolling at Harvard Law School. With the support of some new friends, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself as she discovers how her knowledge of the law can help others. She manages to surprise everyone when she defies expectations and tackles stereotypes in pursuit of her dreams while staying true to herself.
AUDITIONS
Open to performers 14-26 years old
Auditions for Legally Blonde will take place May 30th-June 1st at the Starlight Studio 6648 Alhambra Ave, Martinez CA
Please provide a headshot, resume, and prepare 32 bars from 2 contrasting musical theatre songs, you may only be asked to sing one. A pianist will not be provided for you at the time of auditions so please prepare a track on your phone for you to sing with. Links to sign up for a 10 minute in-person audition slot or to submit a virtual audition are provided below.
The callback list will be released the night of June 1st and callbacks will take place the following day on June 2nd.
Please note that this is a tuition based program. Accepted performers will be asked to register for $695 tuition. Need based scholarships are available.
